phagos is a French biotechnology startup founded in 2021. It develops a sustainable alternative to antibiotics based on bacteria’s natural predator, the bacteriophage. The company targets animal farming in priority as it is the biggest consumer of antibiotics in the world. With over €4.5M in funding from both the public (BpiFrance) and private sectors (Hoxton Ventures, Demeter, Entrepreneur First, Agfunder, Dhyan VC), phagos has produced a scalable personalised phage therapy platform and is getting ready to dispatch its solution globally.
