de:hub AgriFood Osnabrück/Hannover
The de:hub initiative connects SMEs and corporates with innovation partners from the startup ecosystem and academia. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernization (BMDS), 25 hubs across Germany promote the exchange of technological and business expertise.
The de:hub AgriFood represents a unique cluster in Lower Saxony. The four partners—Seedhouse Accelerator GmbH, Agrotech Valley Forum e.V., RootCamp GmbH, and the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL)—form the backbone of the hub and jointly create a high-performing ecosystem for innovation and sustainability in the agri-food sector. The Agrotech Valley Forum e. V. serves as a network for cross-manufacturer, pre-competitive research cooperation in the north-west German economic region.
DIL
The German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL e. V.) is an industrial research institute with more than 150 member companies.
Rootcamp
RootCamp is a startup hub based in Hanover that supports technology-driven ideas in the fields of AgriFood tech, the bioeconomy, and the circular economy.
