Last week, Minister of Economic Affairs Grant Hendrik Tonne visited Seedhouse in Osnabrück – with a symbolic funding check for €500,000 per year, provided by the state of Lower Saxony and co-financed by the ERDF program. Osnabrück is now one of six high-tech incubators (HTI 2.0) in the state. Six of the eight selected startups were present at the official launch – all teams with high technological standards and a clear focus on AI, food, and AgTech.
A NEW PERSPECTIVE FOR RESEARCH AND APPLICATION
HTI 2.0 focuses on profound technological innovations. Its mission: to strengthen the link between research and practical application. The projects are characterized by greater development potential and a long-term focus—ideal conditions for technology-intensive spin-offs.
POLITICAL SUPPORT AND STRONG PARTNERS
In addition to Minister Tonne, Michael Kiesewetter, CEO of NBank, was also present at the launch – a strong signal of political and economic support at the state level. The visit underscores Osnabrück's recognized potential as a location for technology-oriented start-ups.
