What it's about

rain2soil addresses one of the key challenges of modern agriculture: efficient irrigation amid increasing water scarcity, rising energy costs, and acute labor shortages. With rainbutler, an autonomously driving irrigation robot, we combine the flexibility of traditional hose-reel systems with the efficiency of center-pivot irrigation—enhanced by autonomous navigation and proprietary software. The system enables resource-efficient and reliable irrigation across any field geometry.

The founding and core team consists of experienced agricultural and machinery engineers, former executives from leading agricultural machinery manufacturers, as well as experts in sales, operations, and strategy. Close collaboration with farmers ensures strong practical relevance and rapid iteration cycles.
