Optiwiser is an AI software for sales planning, inventory management and production planning that is specially tailored to the requirements of the food and beverage industry. The software uses artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent algorithms to make precise sales forecasts, optimize stock levels and determine cost-optimized production batch sizes.
Optiwiser thus addresses two key challenges in the industry:
- Shortages caused by inadequate forecasting.
- Food waste caused by overproduction.
The solution is aimed at over 80% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that currently still use Excel or simple statistical forecasting tools, leaving the potential of modern AI technologies untapped.

WHO IS BEHIND IT
Ediz Erkmen, Co-founder & CEO: Ediz holds a Master's degree in Technology & Management with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Technical University of Munich.
Enrico Miranda, Co-founder & CTO: Enrico holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and already has 10 years of experience in leading positions in operations and supply chain management.
Maximilian Köhler, Co-founder & CRO: Maximilian, who is responsible for sales, marketing and finance, holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and previously worked in an Israeli logistics start-up.
Dr. Christian Ruf, Head of Advanced Analytics: Christian is responsible for Advanced Analytics and previously worked as a consultant at Bain and Capgemini. He holds a doctorate in Operations Management (detailed production planning) from the Technical University of Munich.
