Our experienced team has a strong background in data science and software development and is dedicated to optimising business processes through AI technologies. We have a particular focus on production processes and offer special expertise in the use of AI-based computer vision for automated image analysis. Our industry-independent software solutions are aimed specifically at medium-sized and large production companies. We attach great importance to working together as partners. Our aim is to implement solutions as quickly as possible through flexibility and to create added value in order to achieve rapid project profitability. The team
Who is behind it
The team combines data science with software development. Anton, our data processing expert, specialises in ML algorithms and development. Henri, with a master's degree in computer science, is focussed on computer vision and deep learning. Jolan, a data scientist and experienced full-stack developer, is an integral part of the development team. As a business analyst, Gerrit rounds off our strong implementation team with process optimisation expertise.
The Seedhouse offers a combination of flexible mentoring, strong support and lots of workshops and events, which have helped us a lot. Thanks to this great support, we were able to establish ourselves and orientate ourselves towards the market. Without the Seedhouse, kubion would not exist in this form.

Success story
Team expansion
The original computer vision start-up "PigView", with which we started in the Seedhouse, has now grown into "kubion GmbH" and we have been able to expand our team. As customised software developers, we are delighted to be able to have an impact on the daily product and process quality of various companies and industries: From gleaming fitted kitchens and powerful fulfilment warehouses to dusty cement works and large recycling centres. At the beginning, we were certainly less aware that S3 safety shoes would become a permanent fixture in our everyday lives as software developers than that our solutions would enable companies to save on staff and alleviate the huge demand for skilled labour in the manufacturing industry.
For us, it's about more than just technology and AI applications; it's about offering real added value and implementing innovation pragmatically and quickly. What helps us do this is to listen carefully, think along and find skilful solutions. Because many problems are like Rubik's cubes: they look complex, but are easy to solve with algorithms. That's why we often, though not always, reach into our AI bag of tricks to help our customers.
