What it's about
KATMA CleanControl sets a new safe standard for lorry hold cleaning. Our robot cleans and disinfects lorry holds fully automatically around the clock (24/7), inexpensively (from €26), quickly (from 3 minutes) and always with a cleaning certificate. The certificate is clearly assigned to the lorry registration number and automatically entered into the TMS or ERP system via an interface. This enables seamless logging. We save up to 75% water, up to 90% chemicals and up to 60% energy compared to manual washing and guarantee clean and safe transport. Pay-Per-Wash means: No fixed costs! Instead of selling the machine, you are only charged for the washes you carry out each month. Whether at your own depot or next door at the public car wash: KATMA CleanControl is affordable and plannable. Car washes can also be sold to third parties. This makes in-house washing even cheaper. All you need is electricity, water and a sealed surface - that's it. Even the installation area only requires a few square metres. Our full service means that we permanently monitor the machine using remote control and are on site within a very short time if servicing is required. Logistics never sleeps - and neither does KATMA. No staff are needed.
The team
Who is behind it
The "founding brothers" Felix and Patrick Kathöfer have a background in metalworking and electrical engineering and therefore had the perfect skillset for automation. Their can-do mentality is lived by the entire team, consisting of 11 employees. In order to develop the machine and everything that goes with it from the ground up, the entire team performed at full capacity!
As soon as you met him, you could already feel his closeness to the industry. I really liked the clear focus on creating added value for the network - there was no big talk, everything was straight to the point. That has a lot to do with appreciation.
