The idea
What it's about
Evergrow Elements is an innovative start-up dedicated to the sustainable and economic utilisation of peatlands by unlocking the potential of cattails for the construction industry. Our goal is to make the construction industry more sustainable and to make simple construction possible again. Our Typha panel made from cattail offers an environmentally friendly and economical alternative to conventional building materials. Our building material combines all important structural properties such as statics, thermal insulation, fire and moisture protection. Walls can therefore be produced monolithically with our product, i.e. from just one material. This saves valuable time both on the construction site and during serial prefabrication. The building material has been developed jointly with the Fraunhofer Institute IBP and Mr Theuerkorn for several years and has already proven its worth in smaller projects, from renovation to new builds.

Who is behind it
Our team consists of the founders Tom Scharf, Marvin Wickert and Wim Schiller. Together we are preparing to enter the market. We are united by our motivation to tackle climate change with innovations and a long-standing friendship. Tom Scharf is responsible for industry partnerships, sales and product development. Wim Schiller is responsible for financial planning, marketing and strategy. Marvin Wickert focuses on production planning, procurement and logistics.
