What it's about
Around 8 million to-go cups are thrown away every day in Germany alone. The chemicals used in disposable cups not only pollute the environment, but 25,000 microplastic particles are ingested by humans per disposable cup.
We are replacing plastic coatings with our innovation. The AllCup we have developed is heat-resistant up to 90°C, waterproof, edible and compostable. Its novelty has also already been confirmed by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, where we were able to apply for a patent. In addition, we solve the problem of coffee to go providers and system caterers who are looking for sustainable disposable products due to the single-use plastic regulation.

The team
Who is behind it
The AllCup team consists of enthusiastic food enthusiasts who strive for innovation. The founding team consists of Sarah Theresa Schulte and Lara Wagemann. Sarah (CEO) specialises in sales and product. She is supported by a team consisting of a food technologist and a chemist. Lara (CFO) is in charge of finance and operations and has completed a financing round of 450,000 euros.
Thanks to the Seedhouse, we were able to deepen our basic knowledge of the start-up industry in 2022 and, above all, gain industry-specific contacts and food support. We still enjoy coming to the Seedhouse events and Florian Stöhr in particular is always a good contact for food and agriculture!
